Growing up in Point Loma, with deep ties to the fishing community going back generations,Captain Roman Lira comes from a family that has fished the waters locally in San Diego since the 1920s. Since Roman was a child, he knew he was going to be a captain of a fishing boat. Captain Roman has fished on various boats over the years in the Sportfishing and commercial fishing industry. He has fishedeverything from Tuna, Swordfish, Rock cod and all off shore pelagic species. Here at Conquest Fishing we pride ourselves in customer service, great fishing, and a clean boat.

The Conquest is a beautiful heavy duty work horse that was designed to fish the East Coast in heavy weather conditions, while providing one of the best rides available. The Conquest is equipped with state-of-the-art Simrad units, radar and chart plotters, along with up-to-date United States Coast Guard approved safety equipment, including a 6-man Viking life raft and EPERB. Additionally, The Conquest has one of the best fishing platforms around with a 4-scoop bait tank and ample deck room. The Conquest has no bounds or equivalents; it is equipped with a full restroom, microwave, mini fridge, and fantastic seating in the cabin area.Come and enjoy all of the wonders the ocean has to offer!
