You and up to three other guests will be guided by Captain Daniel Lecuna, a lifelong fisherman with a boatload of angling skills. You'll also have an experienced deckhand, so you can relax and thoroughly enjoy this top notch fishing experience. Daniel tailors the entire trip to your preferences, whether you want to go out all day, fish for certain species or cast your line in specific spots.
Take a look at the video to the left. You can see this vessel rides smooth and tracks strait. This means more fishing time for you and your party. Notice the top of the line electronics also, that will put you on the spot, and then using the sonar, find the fish. People often underestimate the importance of having solid electronics when hunting tuna, one of the most elusive species to catch!
Daniel has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a rod. Growing up on a Caribbean island, his playground was the ocean and his favorite pastime was fishing. At five years old, he developed a passion for fishing while handlining bottom fish from a small 12 foot panga. When he was ten, the family got a bigger boat and soon Daniel was fishing rich Caribbean waters for pelagic fish like tuna, sailfish, billfish, swordfish, wahoo and bonita. Like any true fishing lover, Daniel was on the water angeling whenever he could - weekends, vacation and spare time were all spent fishing.
Daniel moved to San Diego over 20 years ago and has been fishing off the coast ever since. He knows all of the fishing spots, from Mexico up to the San Clemente islands. He also has developed a wide network of fellow avid anglers that he uses to get the latest information on where the fish are biting. He puts his decades of fishing experience towards every trip, with the goal that all of his guests have fishing trip memories that last a lifetime.
Fish rich waters as far as 100 miles off shore where monsters bite, in U.S. or Mexican waters. We specialize in all day offshore trips for big game pelagic species, like bluefin, yellowfin tuna, dorado, yellowtail, bonito, halibut and wahoo.
We also take plenty of guests inshore fishing among the stunning shallow waters of San Diego's shoreline, from Point Loma and up to La Jolla. Cruise along the coast and bottomline off the boat for sheepshead, rockfish, lingcod and more.
We provide all of the top-of-the-line equipment - reels, bait, kites, lines, and more. We ask that you bring snacks and drinks and your U.S. or Mexico fishing licenses.

TRIP DESCRIPTIONS
Bluefin Trip
Take a long-range tuna trip to San Clemente Island or deep down south in Mexico, depending on where the fish are biting. Your main target will be Bluefin Tuna, while fishing for other types of pelagic fish too. You will leave in the late morning since trophy Bluefin bite in the afternoon. You will venture far offshore, locate the biomass, catch some monsters, and return to the dock after dark. This is a 12 to 15 hour trip.
Offshore Full Day Trip
If you're in search of the best full day trip around, look no further. We head out quickly from the San Diego shore to deep waters on our super fast and smooth Boston Whaler. Settle into a lucrative fishing spot - depending on where the fish are active - and nab the biggest, baddest fish our waters provide - Yellowtail, Dorado, Marlin, Bonito, Skipjack, and more!
Coronado Islands - Day Trip
Does angling in beautiful island waters loaded with schools of fish and with few other boats sounds like paradise? Then the Coronado Islands have your name on them. Located off the coast of Baja, the Coronado Islands are home to huge schools of local Yellowtail, Bonitos, Rock Cod and other pelagic species that make for great fishing and eating. The area is heavily protected by the Mexican government, requiring permits that are difficult to nab, but if you get them, you're blessed with a lucrative fishing spot with few other anglers. This is a 10-12 hour trip, leaving at 6am and returning around 6pm. We take care of the Biosphere and FNM permits that are hard to come by. Anglers are responsible for Mexican/USA fishing license.
Half Day Trip
San Diego is in a prime location to get you out on the sea, fishing within minutes. That means that even on a 6-hour charter you can fill the boat with plenty of delicious fish. Head to the nearshore waters, up to 20 miles from the shore, and catch anything from Yellowtail to Sheephead, Rockfish to Bass, Halibut, Lingcod, Bonito, and more. Get in touch with your captain and he will arrange the departure time according to your needs, usually 6am or 1pm.

Although smaller than the Bluefin, this ferocious fish puts up a fight you will not soon forget.
This is the big one. If you hook up on this you will be in the fight of your life. These fish way hundreds of pounds!
Not technically a tuna, but in the same weight class, it is known for the best tasting sashimi on earth.
