Malihini specializes in full day fishing local and at the the Coronado Islands for Yellowtail, Bonito, Barracuda, Halibut, Rockfish, White Sea Bass, and Sculpin.

The Malihini has an experienced crew, full electronics. and complete galley. She sits 80' x 20' and can carry 51 Passenger's.

Our full day trip fishes any were from 7 to 30 miles from Point Loma to find fish including the Coronado Islands or offshore kelp beds. A great trip for those on a tight schedule!

Spring, summer and fall trips target Yellowtail, White Sea Bass, Calico Bass, Barracuda and Bonito. Winter trips target Sand Bass, Rock Cod and over 50 fifty species of bottom fish.

When you’re sportfishing with us, you should be having a great time. Well, that’s our belief. We take pride in the fishing adventures we provide to both new and experienced fishers.

Our sportfishing trips depart at 6 am and return at 5 pm. You can stay local or fish at the Coronado Islands for Yellowtail, Bonito, Barracuda, Halibut, Rockfish, White Sea Bass, and Sculpin. Choose how you’d like to spend your day.

If we could guarantee that you would catch a fish each time, we’d be booked for the remainder of the year. We can’t promise that you’ll set a record, but we guarantee a fun, welcoming environment on the boat. We have full electronics and a galley.

If you’re new to fishing, come aboard. If you have some tips and tricks to share, we want to fish with you, too. Fishers of all backgrounds make the day even more exciting while trying to make a catch.
